Every year, the Memorial Season brings a beautiful rhythm into our lives. We slow down. We think about Jesus’ sacrifice. We invite others. And many of us look for simple ways to stay involved and keep our focus where it belongs.

But if you’re like me, sometimes the intention is there… yet life gets busy.

You plan to write a few letters. You want to involve the kids. You mean to keep track of your bible reading. Then suddenly a week passes.

That’s exactly why small tools can help so much. Not to add pressure, but to make the good things easier to start.

So I created a few simple resources to help you enjoy the Memorial campaign a little more this year.

Letter Writing Stationery

Letter writing during the Memorial campaign can be such a meaningful form of ministry.

There’s something personal about it. Someone opens their mailbox and instead of another bill or flyer, they receive a thoughtful invitation connected to the most important event of the year.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply getting started.

That’s why printable stationery can help. When the page already looks inviting, all you need to do is sit down with a cup of tea, write a few lines, and send encouragement to someone who might never have heard about the Memorial.

Even writing one letter can make a difference.

Keep Your Kids Engaged

The Memorial campaign is also a great opportunity to involve children. Kids love feeling included. And when they have something meaningful to do, they naturally become part of the spiritual routine.

Colouring pages connected to the Memorial theme can help them:

  • focus during family worship
  • talk about Jesus’ sacrifice
  • stay engaged while you prepare letters or invitations

I’ve seen families print a few pages, set out crayons on the table, and turn the evening into a calm little family activity.

Simple, but memorable.

The Jesus Study Kit for Deeper Reflection

The Memorial season is also the perfect time to focus more closely on Jesus’ life and teachings.

That’s why I created the Jesus Study Kit for those who enjoy creative Bible journaling. It’s designed to help you slow down and really think about Jesus and the ransom.

Inside the kit you’ll find:

  • 40+ study prompts about Jesus
  • Sermon on the Mount creative journaling pages
  • Life & Ministry of Jesus Tracker
  • Watchtower printables for deeper reflection, including
    • What Does the Ransom Teach Us?
    • Imitate Jehovah and Jesus in Your Way of Thinking

Instead of just reading, these pages help you interact with the scriptures, write your thoughts, and make the study personal. Many friends find that writing things out helps the message stay in their heart longer.

Gospel Bible Reading Tracker

One simple way to stay focused on Jesus during the Memorial season is by reading the Gospel accounts. That’s why I created a Gospel Bible Reading Tracker Bookmark. It’s a slim printable that works as both a bookmark and a reading tracker. You can place it directly in your Bible and mark each chapter as you read.

Each row represents a chapter, and the columns show the four books. As you read, you simply check the box. Over time you can clearly see your progress through the life and ministry of Jesus.

Because it’s a bookmark, it stays right in your Bible, quietly reminding you where you left off and encouraging you to keep going.

Sometimes the smallest tools make Bible reading feel more intentional.

Why Simple Tools Matter

The Memorial campaign isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about keeping our focus on the ransom and our gratitude to Jehovah.

Sometimes that focus grows through small actions:

  • Writing a letter.
  • Colouring with your child.
  • Reflecting on Jesus’ life in your journal.

These small practices create space for gratitude and deeper appreciation. And often they help us stay consistent when motivation comes and goes.

The Memorial reminds us of the greatest act of love ever shown.

So here’s a question to reflect on:

How could you make this Memorial season a little more intentional in your own routine this year?

May you have a meaningful and enjoyable Memorial Campaign season!
