If you happen to have my printable bundle for kids, you’ll be excited to know that several designs from the “Was It Designed?” series can be printed directly onto long #10 envelopes (landscape orientation). These colouring envelopes are not only practical but also a creative way to keep kids engaged during the ministry. The colouring elements in these designs offer a fun activity to keep little hands busy while writing letters.
Keep in mind, if your envelope is a different size than #10, the design might not fit perfectly.
Step-by-Step Guide to Printing on Envelopes
Before starting, refer to your printer’s manual to ensure it supports envelope printing. Most printers do, but it’s always good to double-check!
Here’s how you can easily print these designs:
1. Open the PDF File
Use free software like Adobe Reader to open your file.
2. Access the Print Settings
Go to the Print menu, which will open the print dialogue box.
3. Set Up the Paper Size
- In the print dialogue, find the Page Setup or Paper Size option.
- Select Envelope #10 as the paper type (this step tells your printer to adjust its settings for the correct envelope size).
4. Print and Enjoy!
Once you’ve adjusted the settings, you’re ready to print!
I’ve included step-by-step pictures below for your reference. Please note that every printer and computer setup is unique, so the settings may look slightly different on your device.
Adjust as needed to get the best results!
