Welcome to my little creative corner! Today, I’m thrilled to share something very special—a flip-through of my Daily Text Notebook and a closer look at the supplies that brought it to life. If you’ve ever wondered how to infuse creativity into your daily spiritual routine, you’re in for a treat!

The Notebook That Started It All

For my Daily Text Notebook, I chose a pocket-sized Moleskine. It’s quite different from what I’ve used before, and I absolutely love it! Its compact size makes it perfect to carry wherever I go, letting me capture thoughts, scriptures, and reflections on the spot.

However, the thin pages do allow some bleed-through when using paints or heavy mediums. Personally, I don’t mind, as I see it as part of the charm of a well-loved notebook. If bleed-through isn’t your thing, though, I recommend opting for a notebook with thicker pages like this one.

My Must-Have Supplies

Now, let’s explore the tools that added colour and personality to my notebook. These favourites transformed plain pages into a creative celebration of Jehovah’s Word!

1. Muji Pen is an all-time classic. Its fine tip and smooth ink flow make it ideal for writing out scriptures or notes with clean precision. I love how it elevates even my simplest handwriting, making every entry look polished and elegant.

2. Posca Pens are a game-changer! These vibrant, opaque markers are perfect for adding colourful highlights, bold doodles, or eye-catching borders. With their range of bold and pastel shades, they effortlessly bring my pages to life.

3. Prismacolor Colored Pencils are great for softer designs. Their creamy texture and rich pigment never disappoint.

4. Alphabet Stamps. When I want to add bold lettering or decorative elements without freehand drawing, stamps and ink come to the rescue. They lend a professional touch to my notebook and add variety to the overall design. The key is using high-quality ink to ensure clean, crisp impressions every time.

5. Paints. Adding a splash of paint gives my pages an artistic flair. I use watercolours for soft, dreamy effects and acrylics for bold accents. A little paint can truly transform scriptures into a visual masterpiece, making each page feel extra special.

6. Scissors. For unique, textured designs, I used scissors to create cutouts from printed materials, magazines, and decorative paper. Layering these pieces added depth and dimension, making my notebook a one-of-a-kind creation.

Why I Love These Tools

Each supply lets me express my creativity in unique ways. The combination of precision pens, vibrant markers, textured paints, and layered cutouts turned my Daily Text Notebook into a spiritual keepsake. It’s not just a journal; it’s a personal, creative connection to Jehovah’s Word.
