Last October, I embarked on a personal challenge that involved studying 21 different women mentioned in the Bible, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. I spent 21 days immersed in my studies, and some days, I spent up to 2 hours carefully examining each woman’s story, while other days, I could only manage a quick 30-minute session.

Throughout the challenge, I jot down key points about each woman’s life, as well as her struggles and wins.

Now, I have a library of spiritual gems that I can revisit and reflect upon at any time. Every page of this notebook serves as a reminder of the women who have left behind valuable lessons for us to learn from.

I am excited to share my journal pages with you today, which I hope will inspire and encourage you to make a personal study about these women, and also some of my favourite journaling tools that help me to bring pages to life.

My Favourite Tools for Creating Journaling Pages About Women in the Bible

When I started creating my journaling pages for the study about women in the Bible, I realized my toolkit was pretty modest. But as I worked with what I had, I found that simplicity often sparks creativity. Here’s a breakdown of the tools I used and why they’ve become some of my favourites.

1. Muji Pens – Reliable and Precise. I can’t overstate how much I love my Muji pens. They’re smooth and precise! Whether I’m underlining an important thought or doodling, these pens handle it all.

2. Sakura Gelly Roll – They are pretty fun to play with. I have the Moonlight version, and I love their neon touch on the pages.

2. Tombow Markers – The vibrant colours were essential for making the pages lively. These dual-tip markers (a brush tip on one end and a fine point on the other) allowed me to highlight important scriptures and add bold, colourful headings.

3. Prismacolor Pencils – These are always handy when you want to go for a splash of colour.

4. Flower Stickers – These brought a touch of elegance to the pages. They made the pages visually engaging and added an extra layer of creativity without too much effort.

5. Date Stamp – A versatile tool that enhances the aesthetic of any journal entry.

5. Spiral Lined Notebook – perfect for journaling, studying, or even everyday notes! Check out my designs in my Redbubble shop.
